Hey everyone back home!!!
Oh my where do I begin this blog? Today was a crazy day. This morning was nice and relaxing painting and just having down time, but today during VBS, all of the amigos were wild. I have not ever seen kids so full of energy. At least 20 kids chased Forrest around for a half hour. It was really funny to watch and I think he enjoyed it. I am really tired though and everytime I take a nap I wake up too hot and sweaty to do anything. The best thing here is the cold showers. They feel awesome!! Yesterday I went to the store with Barb and Catherine. It was the first time I was in air conditioning since the plane ride here. I actually felt chilly! It was the BEST feeling I have had this entire trip. I asked Barb if later we could take our whole group back to take a nap. She laughed but agreed it was a great idea. I can not believe there are only 4 days left. This trip went by way too fast. I can not wait to be home but I will definitely miss all of this kids, experiences, and memories I have from this trip. I am just so thankful that I was able to come on this mission trip and learn so many new things. I love you mom and dad and I miss you very much. See you in the airport on Tuesday.

Hey everyone reading this blog,

Mexico is still pretty cool even after 10 days. The weather has cooperated very peacefully this whole time. Some complain about the heat and humidity but I see it as an opportunity. I have been loving and soaking up this sun! The kids here are adorable and many have been nice and very helpful. Others still need a lot of work, but hopefully this mission will teach them some new manners and things to look up to and respect. I have learned a lot about this culture and I'm starting to get the hang of all of it. The wildlife has been very busy and exciting. New chicks have hatched and kittens are roaming the grounds as well, as well as all the lizards and turantula's crawling everywhere. The work seems almost insane at certain points in the heat of the day, but the new experiences coming from this trip are unforgetable. I have been very happy to grow closer to everyone on this trip. I have been making new friends from the American side and the Mexican side. International relationships are very special I think. Working with small children has been an experience in itself; my soccer skills have improved immensly while playing with these kids. One down point in the trip is not having the open fridge I'm used to, but a couple trips to the local stores are fun to stock up on some small snacks and Coke. My Spanish speaking has also improved a lot. It's very hard to understand these fast paced speakers but I understand enough to respond to most comments. Overall, I've had an ioncredible experience so far on this trip and hopefully it will continue until the day I come back home. (but with some of the gorgeous beaches I wish I could stay here for ever)

Hey its A.J. Today was fun and crazy. VBS was fun and after that Scott and I and a mexi bro played some soccer against 30 people and WON!!!!!!!!!!!! so I gotta say today was a great day.
